IFBB Pro
The ContestAtlas ranking orders athletes by points accumulated from competition placements documented by our team. This page explains exactly how every score is computed — so the ranking is citable and auditable.
By default the ranking only considers competitions from the last 24 months (rolling window). Results outside that window score nothing.
You can also view the ranking for a specific calendar year (January 1 to December 31) using the period selector on the ranking page.
Beyond the 24-month rolling window, every ranking page also offers a "Recorded cumulative score" scope: the same scoring formula applied with no date cutoff at all — the sum of every participation ContestAtlas has already recorded for that federation and category.
This number is not a complete or definitive historical total: it reflects only the results ContestAtlas has documented and loaded so far. As more competitions are ingested (including historical ones), the cumulative score can grow — it is never treated as a "complete career" or lifetime value.
The cumulative score is still scoped per federation and category — it does not aggregate across federations and is not a cross-federation all-time ranking.
Each athlete's score is the sum, across all competitions in the window, of (placement points × effective event-prestige multiplier), plus award bonuses.
| Placement | Points |
|---|---|
| 1st place | 25 |
| 2nd place | 18 |
| 3rd place | 15 |
| 4th place | 12 |
| 5th place | 10 |
| 6th place | 8 |
| 7th place | 6 |
| 8th place | 4 |
| 9th place | 2 |
| 10th place | 1 |
| 11th place or lower (competed) | 0 |
The effective multiplier comes from the competition tier, with configured overrides for special-prestige events.
| Prestige | Multiplier |
|---|---|
| S+ / Olympia | ×5 |
| Major international | ×4 |
| International | ×3 |
| Pro National | ×2 |
| Regional | ×1 |
Currently configured overrides:
Each bonus counts once per athlete within the window, even if earned at more than one competition.
When points are tied, the tie-break order is: most titles (1st place), most podiums (top 3), then athlete slug alphabetically — keeping the ranking deterministic.
Editions of IFBB Pro League tournaments covered by ContestAtlas, with a complete result table documented internally by our team, are eligible. The effective multiplier reflects the event's relevance, including prestige overrides such as Olympia/S+.
ContestAtlas follows a tournament-first strategy: we cover complete, verified tournament histories first. The ranking reflects only what has already been loaded and checked.
The ranking is recomputed as new results are ingested (post-competition routine). Pages revalidate hourly.
